If you want to delete your LYFT history then you are also deleting your previous rides and all of the tips that you have given LYFT drivers. I don’t think that this is something that anyone should do if they only use LYFT occasionally. I think that if you are using LYFT frequently and like to tip often then this might be something that you want to do. I would only recommend doing so if there is a specific reason or situation that makes you worried about your LYFT history showing up somewhere (for example, a public court case).
Once that is done, then create a new account on Lyft by following the steps below:
Go to Lyft.com and click the “Log In” button in the upper right corner of their homepage.
Click on the blue “Register Me! in the top left corner of the page.
Fill out all of your information and click submit once finished.
You will notice that after you have logged into your account, Lyft asks for access to your address book (see image below). This is solely used to recommend drivers in your local area. You can click “Allow” or “Don’t Allow”. I don’t think it should matter which one you pick since they are only attempting to auto-fill information about the driver(s) who would be best suited for the ride that you are trying to request.
The Driver Dashboard’s ‘Driving History’ tab lets you see past rides and passengers. To use the history, skip ahead to: How to use your history.
Tap the contact name to use the address as a destination. You can also tap on the edit button next to the contact name to add or remove an address–that’s it!
We cannot see your exact location. This “security” feature is easily defeated by taking a screenshot of the pickup address while driving to that location, and taking a screenshot of the destination after exiting.
As you can see in the screenshot above, Lyft will take up to 10 days before your subscription is canceled.
Currently, OLACAB cannot delete our ride history on its app. But we can permanently delete our account with their email: [email protected]
If you would like a detailed receipt from Lyft, you can access one by logging into your account on the company’s website. From there, you can print out a receipt for your records. The receipt will include information about your trip, such as the time and date of the ride, the fare, and any tips that you may have given.
The easiest way to access your Lyft statement is to sign into your account on the company website. Once you are logged in, you should be able to see a “My Statements” tab where you can download all of your past statements as PDFs. If you have any questions about your statement or about your account in general, Lyft’s customer service team will be happy to help.
PDF receipts from Lyft can be generated either through the Lyft app or through the driver’s app. To generate a PDF receipt from the Lyft app, open the app and go to the ‘Menu’ tab. Select ‘Your Trips’ and then tap on the trip for which you would like to generate a receipt. Scroll down and tap on ‘View Receipt’. To generate a PDF receipt from the driver’s app, open the app and go to the ‘Trips’ tab.
Lyft is sending text messages to riders in order to provide them with updates on their ride. This can include the driver’s name, car make and model, and license plate number. It can also include a map of the route the driver is taking.
To view your past Uber rides, you’ll need to access your account on the Uber website. Once you’re logged in, you can view a detailed history of all your rides, including the date, time, and cost of each trip. You can also see a map of your route and the driver’s rating. If you have any questions or concerns about a particular ride, you can contact Uber customer service for more information.
There is no one definitive way to stop Lyft from texting you. Some people have success blocking numbers, but others find that this does not work. Others have had success unsubscribing from text notifications in their account settings. Still others have resorted to disabling text messages on their phone altogether. Ultimately, it depends on the individual and how they use their phone.
