As Instagram’s head of product development, Adam Mosseri stated, after you’ve created a carousel of photographs or videos, you’ll be able to remove specific entries from the series by selecting ‘Edit’ from the drop-down menu, then tapping on the tiny trash icon in the top left corner of the image/video that you want to delete

Instagram has introduced a long-awaited feature that enables users to remove a single photo or clip from an already created carousel. Users simply have to touch the post to edit it, swipe over to the image they want to delete, and press the deletion button on the top left of the screen.

In one of his recent weekly video addresses, Instagram’s head of product Adam Mosseri explained how the new function works. This week’s topic is Covering ✌️; – Deletion of a Carousel (finally!) You may remove a photo or video from a carousel by first tapping the three dots symbol, then the edit button

Swipe to delete any images they don’t want. Simply tap to modify the carousel post, swipe across to the image they wish to remove, and hit the trash can in the top left corner of the screen.

On your Android phone, open the Instagram app. Bring up the photo in question. Tap on the three dots (settings) above the picture. To see the image, go to the top of the list and choose “Archive.” This means you can view it, but no one else can.
